Question:
Hi Dmitry,
I had a question for you if you don’t mind. I built an online store, set it all up and everything was looking to be ok until I found out NO merchant provider for credit cards would accept me because of my bad credit is there any way around that? Also I was thinking about connecting my online store to some CRM software to keep track of everything, do you have any suggestions.
Thanks,
Nick.
Hi Nick,
Thank you for your email, to be honest, I have never bumped into this problem before. But as far as I remember if you signup for merchant account with PayPal you can accept credit cards and I don’t think they check your credit. Also there is another way around it, but it is totally different approach. As far as I understood you want to sell things in your online store to make money, right. One of the fastest and easiest ways to make money online (in my opinion) is affiliate marketing and you don’t have to deal with “bad credit” problems like in ecommerce… You can read more about it here Wealthy Affiliate review.
Thanks,
Dmitry
Hey,
Thanks for the response, in affiliate marketing I don’t completely understand how you collect your commission without giving them your credit card information, or something to be able to collect the commission it all has me kind of confused but, ill keep on trying if you have any info that could help please let me know, thanks for your time.
Hi Nicholas,
You can receive commissions on PayPal account, via direct wire transfer – straight to your checking or saving account or by check – you can cash in any bank. I prefer – wire transfers this way I don’t have to do anything. As I said if you want overview of how to make money with affiliate marketing and how to get started read article about wealthy affiliate.
Thanks,
Dmitry
Hi Dmitry,
I have been with WA before but was kind of confused on a lot of things, like when getting an affiliate account with somebody how do you make it so they know it was your link they got the sale from? However, I am thinking about joining again and giving it another try. If I do I’ll join through your link.
Thanks for your time.
Hi Nicholas,
Yes you right WA can be little overwhelming for the first time. But that’s good you know you’re going to have tools and resources as you grow. Regarding your question about affiliate sales tracking; it is very simple – company or affiliate network issue you a unique link with identifier (http:www.example-vendor.com?affiliate=nicholas) this way when somebody buys you will get credit for it. Of course it is oversimplified explanation but it close to the truth. Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Dmitry
